Introduction of Titanium Seamless Tube and Titanium Tube:

Ti 6Al/4V stands out as the most extensively utilized among all alpha-beta titanium alloys, constituting over half of total titanium usage worldwide. Typically employed in its annealed state, it remains effective at service temperatures reaching up to 400°C (750°F). Welding of Ti 6Al/4V is facilitated using either matching filler wire or ELI filler wire.

 

In terms of mechanical properties, Ti 6Al/4V boasts significantly greater strength than commercially pure titanium, while maintaining comparable stiffness and thermal characteristics—excluding its lower thermal conductivity, which is approximately 60% less than CP Ti. One of its key advantages lies in its ability to undergo heat treatment, enhancing its overall performance.

 

Renowned for its robust combination of strength, corrosion resistance, weldability, and fabricability, Ti 6Al/4V finds widespread application in diverse fields such as military aircraft, turbines, and surgical implants.
