Product Description
Ti 6Al/4V Titanium Alloy Tube Grade 5 Titanium Tube Straight/Seamless Tubing
Product Overview

Ti 6Al/4V is the most widely used alpha-beta titanium alloy, accounting for over 50% of global titanium usage. Typically employed in annealed state, it remains effective at service temperatures up to 400°C (750°F). This alloy offers excellent weldability with matching filler wire or ELI filler wire.

Industry Standards
  • ASTM F1472: Wrought titanium-6 aluminum-4 vanadium alloy (Grade 5) for surgical implant applications
  • ASTM F620: Titanium alloy forgings for surgical implants in biomedical applications
  • ASTM B543: Welding electrodes and rods for use with titanium and titanium alloys
Applications
  • Surgical Implants: Orthopedic implants including hip stems, bone plates, and dental implants due to biocompatibility and corrosion resistance
  • Aerospace Tubing: Aircraft components like airframes, engine components, and hydraulic tubing thanks to lightweight and high strength-to-weight ratio
  • Pressure Tubing: Oil and gas exploration, hydraulic systems, and marine environments requiring durability under pressure
