Gr5 Titanium Alloy Wire Grade 5 Titanium Welding Wire

Grade 5 Titanium Wire is alloyed with 6% Aluminum and 4% Vanadium. This high-performance material is used across various industries including motorsports, aerospace, naval, and industrial applications. Titanium Grade 5 Wire has successfully replaced heavier, less durable materials in many engineering applications due to its superior strength-to-weight ratio and cost-effectiveness.

As the most common high-strength, lightweight titanium alloy, Grade 5 offers exceptional corrosion resistance in both natural and industrial environments. The alloy's composition includes aluminum, manganese, iron, molybdenum and other metals to enhance strength, temperature resistance, and reduce weight.

Typical applications include pressure vessels, rocket engine cases, helicopter rotor hubs, fasteners, and critical forgings requiring high strength-to-weight ratios. With ultimate tensile strength exceeding 120,000 psi, this aerospace-grade alloy accounts for approximately 50% of global titanium usage.
