Product Description

High Purity Titanium Coil Wire ASTM B863

This high purity titanium coil wire is produced to ASTM B863 in Gr1, Gr2, Gr5, Gr7 and Gr12. Titanium is a silver-white metal with a density of 4.54 g/cm3, roughly 43% lighter than steel, with mechanical strength close to steel and excellent resistance to acids and corrosion. Its high melting point near 1942 K keeps the wire stable at high temperature. The wire is supplied with a black or alkaline cleaned surface in diameters from 0.1 mm to 0.8 mm and can be bent, welded, decoiled, cut and punched.
