Gr5 Ti6Al4V Titanium Sheet UNS N56400 Annealed

Baoji Lihua offers an enormous variety of Grade 5 titanium sheets, plates and coils, in many dimensions and sizes, to meet varied customer requirements. These Gr5 Ti-6Al-4V (UNS N56400) plates are widely used in medical, aerospace, chemical processing and marine fields. In its annealed state the alloy is a ductile metal, and its resistance to fatigue and crack propagation is excellent. The material contains a mixture of titanium and other chemical elements; it is about 60% heavier than aluminium but twice as strong, with a density of 4.51 g/cc, less than 60% that of steel. It has excellent tensile properties at ambient temperature and worthwhile creep resistance up to 570 Deg F.

Applications

Medical devices, aerospace structures, chemical processing equipment and marine hardware, together with sporting goods where the coil is used as cast. Suppliers should note that fabrication operations such as annealing and descaling can increase the impurity level unless particular care is taken, so the material is supplied annealed and ready for machining. Plates and coils can be cut to the required size on request.
