Product Description

Gr5 Ti6Al4V CNC Machined Titanium Disc ASTM B381

This titanium disc is forged from Gr5 (Ti-6Al-4V) and then CNC machined, so the outside diameter and the faces are true before the part is used. Titanium is strong, light and corrosion resistant, and at almost half the weight of steel it gives a high strength to weight ratio with a clean machined finish. The disc is supplied to ASTM B381 with an outside diameter of 98 mm or to the customer request, and with heights of 10 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 20 mm and 25 mm. Gr5 is the most widely used titanium alloy and combines good toughness, high strength and resistance to many acids and alkalis, so the disc suits coating, electroplating and general industrial parts.

Applications

The disc is a machined blank and coating material for many industrial parts. Typical uses include electroplating and coating targets, chemical and processing equipment, and general engineering components that need a light, strong and corrosion resistant material.
